Hi! Friends I completed my degree in nutrition. I studied in nutrition program.  researched in vitamins and their function in human body. List of vitamins and their functions you can find here. Vitamins are the substance that needs to grow and develop our body normally. To grow and develop our bodies there are some compliment of vitamins.  Each organ required different vitamins. Every vitamin has different function in our bodies.

There are 13vitamins required by human body.Here I am writing about all vitamins which are growing human body , vitaminsA,C,D,E,K and  the B vitamins (thiamine,riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, vitamin B-6, vitamin B-12 andfolate).

Here all vitamins we can take different foods which are different functions in our body to develop human body.

Here I am writing every vitamin source and function.

Vitamin A

Source and function

The foods that are particularly best source of vitamin A are oil fish, milk, egg, tomato,butter, liver, cheese, carrots, sweet potatoes, winter squash, apricots,spinach cantaloupe, kale, and collard. Vitamin A helps from and maintainshealthy teeth, bones, soft tissues, mucus membranes, and skin.

Vitamin C

Sources and functions:

Citrus fruits are the excellent source of vitamin C. like oranges lemon. Vitamin C, known as ascorbic acid. It is necessary for the growth, development and repairs all body tissues.

Vitamin C involve in many functions it also body tissues formation of proteins, repair ourskin tissues, absorption of iron, immune system, blood vessels for healingwounds and scar tissues.

Vitamin D

Sources and functions:  

Vitamin D absorbscalcium. Vitamin D along with calcium keeps help strong and healthy bones and develops bone structure. You can intake Vitamin D to easy way is sunlight, fresh fish. You can get vitamin D from fortified orange juices. Milk is fortified with vitamin D. here some best source to take vitamin D seafood, cheese, whole eggs, nuts and seeds.

Vitamin D has main role in our body to strong and healthy our bones. Block the release of parathyroid hormones.

Vitamin E

Sources and functions:

Vitamin D is a group of powerful antioxidant. That protects your cell from oxidative stress. If you don’t get vitamin E, you may become prone to some infections. You , take a lot of vitamin E food in large quantity. The best sources of vitamin E are wheat germ oil, absorbs calcium seeds, Almonds, hazelnut oil, peanuts, avocado, red sweet pepper, mango, Crayfish, and fish roe. Vitamin E protects red blood cells. And helps prevents destruction vitamin A and C.

Vitamin k

Sources and functions:

Vitamin K plays a key role in blood clots, prevent excessive bleeding. Vitamin K play main role in bold clotting, bone and heart health. Vitamin K is a group of compounds divided in to two groups; vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and vitamin K2 (menaquinone). Here excellent sources of vitamin K are kiwi, hard cheese, soft cheese, soybean oil, green beans, chicken, beef liver, spinach, broccoli, cabbage.

Vitamin B Complex

Here vitamin B complex is

  •  B-1 (thiamine)
  • B-2 (riboflavin)
  • B-3 (niacin)
  • B-5 (pantothenic acid)
  • B-6 (pyridoxine)
  • B-7 (biotin)
  • B-9 (folic acid)

Vitamin B helps cell health, growth of red blood cells, energy levels, good eyesight, healthy brain function, good digestion, healthy appetite, proper nerve function, hormones and cholesterol production, cardiovascular health, muscle tone.
