An intergalactic murderer, Gorr the God Butcher, who plans to wipe out all gods in his quest for destruction, forces Thor out of retirement. Thor enlists the assistance of King Valkyrie, Korg, and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster in order to resist the menace. To Thor’s amazement, Jane Foster unexpectedly holds his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor, much to Thor’s confusion. Together, they set forth on a perilous journey across space and time in order to solve the riddle of the God Butcher’s revenge and put a stop to him before it’s too late.
